Windows 10: Administrator password and microsoft password don't match

Hi,I am trying to set up secure boot to be able to upgrade to windows 11. I need to access the command prompt through advanced reboot, but I need to sign in through an admin account. I tried using the microsoft account which is connected to windows, which didn't work. I updated the microsoft account password and made sure that they are properly connected. Trying again, it still says that the password is incorrect, making me unable to access the command prompt. These are the steps I took to access it:settings - update & security - recovery - restart nowTroubleshoot - advanced options - comm

To which "this" are you referring?
- If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
- If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.
