Windows 10: additional language in the keyboard layout

hi,I found that there is an additional language AFR in the keyboard layout, which I never installed. I checked the settings under more keyboard settings but only two languages shown, not three as shown in the keyboard layout. I went to more keyboard settings to add the language and uninstalled it. It keeps coming back after turning on the device or restarting it. How can I prevent it from coming back?

This suggests to me that you are using the wrong "keyboard language" for your keyboard, and that therefore you first step would be to determine exactly what language keyboard you have. Possibly have a look at Windows Keyboard Layouts - Globalization | Microsoft Docs.

(The age of any laptop capable of running Windows 10 at all should not be a problem as regards keyboard layout)

 

How to remove these random additional keyboard layouts?

Hello. I recently reinstalled Windows and somehow got these keyboard layouts that I don't need and not going to use. How to remove these random additional keyboard layouts of English language? I didn't install them. They appeared by themselves. Also, they do not show up in the installed languages list and I can't find them in the list with all languages available to install. I am using Windows 10 Build 19045. I attached 2 screenshots of how my language settings look. Do you have any ideas how to remove them?

The updated Windows 10 may have detected your language, the reason why it automatically gave you the other Thai US keyboard. To correct this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on the Start Menu, type in region and language settings and select it.
• Under Languages, select Thai Kedmanee keyboard and click Remove.
• Lastly, add it back by clicking Add a language.

After these steps, your keyboard layout will permanently stay with Thai Kedmanee keyboard.
