Windows 10: Activation code not working after hardware upgrade?

So, I just upgraded my motherboard, cpu, ram and other various pieces... Now it says I can't use the activation key that I used to activate the first time and tells me to go buy a copy. I refuse to do so when it's going to cost me 250AUD for the home version, I had a different version. The OS seems to run normally for now but don't want it to conk out on me or force me to buy a copy. I've scoured posts online, tried driver updates and everything else suggested or thought of but it won't let me activate my copy. I have the original key used for installation and am wondering how this will be res

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.

Activating Windows 10 Pro After a Hardware Upgrade!

I followed all the steps to linking my Windows 10 Pro to my Microsoft account so that I could upgrade my hardware, reinstall Windows 10 Pro, and activate it, but it's not working. I'm signed into my Microsoft account. I tried the activation troubleshooter,
selecing that I recently changed hardware, etc. Nothing is working. I can see my old computer under my Microsoft account, as well as my new one (with better hardware). I changed the motherboard, ram, and CPU. Any suggestions would be wonderful.
