Accidentally deleted boot partition when formatting disk to GPT. How do I restore it?

Hello,In the process of updating my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11, I unknowingly messed up my boot drive when formatting it to GPT. Now when I boot the PC I get a blinking cursor.I booted the PC using a USB with a Windows 10 installer. The repair diagnostics tool couldn't resolve the problem.Running DISKPART in command line, I could see the disks are still there and filled with data. I have 2 disks. One M.2 SSD which the system booted from originally and one HDD with my files. I would like to figure out if there's a way of restoring the boot in order to restore my PC.Thank YouEDIT: Attached are

  3. clone MBR HD to bootable GPT partition?

    Hi,

    1. You cannot convert mbr to gpt without data loss. otherwise, you can follow directions here:

    FROM WINDOWS RECOVERY CONSOLE:

To change a master boot record disk into a GUID partition table disk using a command line

    • Back up or move the data on the basic master boot record (MBR) disk you want to convert into a GUID partition table (GPT) disk.

    • Open an elevated command prompt (right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as Administrator) and type diskpart. If the disk does not contain any partitions or volumes, skip to step 6.

    • At the DISKPART prompt, type list disk. Make note of the disk number you want to convert.

    • At the DISKPART prompt, type select disk <disknumber>.

    • At the DISKPART prompt, type clean.

    2. I'd suggest converting your vista drive to a virtual machine, load that up on your windows 10 system and use a program like virtualbox to run it.

Accidentally deleted boot partition when formatting disk to GPT. How do I restore it?

Accidentally deleted GPT partition on hard drive

I have an SSD and a HD, I have windows installed on the SSD and I use the HD to store extra data. I accidentally deleted the GPT partition of my hard drive (doesn't affect my windows however windows can't detect the hard drive now) while trying to install Ubuntu on my HD for a dual boot. Is there any way that I can reinstate the GPT partition for the hard drive without having to pay for 3rd party software? Any help would greatly be appreciated as I am currently unable to access any data from my hard drive.
