Windows 10: A Dialog Box Popped Up with a Korean-named Folder on My Computer

Hello.I recently re-installed my computer. After the re-install, a folder with a Korean name appeared in a dialog box.The path is:C:\Program Files\WindowsApps7Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub_18.2503.1107.0x64 8wekyb3d8bbwe\C:???\EBWebViewThe question marks are for the Korean characters. I put in spaces between the 4 and 8 because it looks like there are spaces in the dialog box. I have included a screenshot below.Sincerely,User

Folder Name is not reflected after renaming the Folder in Import setting -- Browse for Folder dialog box

I have noticed the below mentioned behaviour/Issue

While Importing Photos from phone, Folder Name is not reflected in 'Folder' textbox after renaming the folder in 'Browse for Folder' dialog box

Steps followed to reproduce the issue:-

Connect Phone to computer using USB cable. Right click on the device when detected, click on 'Import Pictures and Videos', click on 'Import Settings', click on 'Browse' button then on 'Make New Folder' button
. New Folder will be created and allowed to rename. But the renamed folder name is not updated in 'Folder' textbox of 'Browse for Folder' dialog after hitting Enter button.

Note: When any folder is selected in Browse window, folder name is reflected in 'Folder' textbox. But if New folder is created and renamed, renamed folder name will not be updated in 'Folder' textbox.

Please let us know the solution for this behaviour/issue.

Based on your description, it seems to be that you have a problem with your OneDrive wherein there's a folder in Korean symbol that has been added. Let's work together to find the best solution to this problem.

I would like to ask some questions to better understand the problem.

• Have you checked your OneDrive online if the folder also shows on the web? If not yet, try to login to OneDrive.com to check for that folder.
  
• Have you tried deleting the folder? You may try deleting the folder and see if it can be removed then restart your computer.
  
• Do you have anti-virus installed on your computer? If yes, I suggest that you try to run a quick scan on your device if there are malicious software that can be detected.

Some (but not all) dialog boxes pop up too small in Windows 10 on Dell XPS 13. Any suggestions?
