Windows 10: 4th time installation of Windows 10 (Need Help!!)

Its my 4th time installation of windows 10 to my pc and im afraid it might damage my Hard Drive,
process1 initilization failed it keeps showing that error after restarting from windows update
i tried doing sfc /scannow, DISM, dskchck, booting to safe mode and etc which just leave mo to reinstalling windows 10
OS build after windows update: 19041.405, currently installing win10 going to check windows version number and os build again

The HDD is brand new a 1tb seagate

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Note that there are many many drivers- including low level drivers. The above will not cover all those included in Windows.

Note you should not have to worry about disabling updates until near end of life of 1909 anyway. You have to opt in to upgrade to 2004. That said:

Enable or Disable Windows Update Automatic Updates in Windows 10
Option 7 suggests 1 3rd party tool

Then there's Sledgehammer - allows Defender updates, blocks WU, allows manual scan and selection.

Issue of how to stop WU has been discussed endlessly.
