Windows 10: 2in1 Laptop is "auto rotating" while in sleep mode and is upside down every time I open it

I've had this Dell Inspiron 2in1 laptop for over a year and use it in both laptop and tablet mode on a daily basis...     2in1 Laptop is "auto rotating" while in sleep mode and is upside down every time I open it


    This just started about 10 days ago. I've had this Dell Inspiron 2in1 laptop for over a year and use it in both laptop and tablet mode on a daily basis and have never had an issue previously, it was always upright when turned on, properly rotated entering tablet mode and returned to normal rotation exiting tablet mode. About 10 days ago it started being upside down EVERY single time I first open the laptop and turn it on. The only way to get it to flip upright is to go to the display settings kind of challenging when it's upside down or to flip it into tablet mode, it rotates up, and then f

    Auto rotation option is not there

    I have Dell 2in1 laptop. Auto rotation option is not there in the display settings. Please help me to resolve the issue of auto rotation

    Really needed to list more system specs and information on this issue.So this is assuming you have this and this is the issue.

    Why does my screen not rotate?
    The auto rotation lock feature is turned on by default in Windows 10. Use the following steps to turn off this feature.

    1. Place the tablet into Pad/Tablet mode.
    2. Click the Start
      2in1 Laptop is "auto rotating" while in sleep mode and is upside down every time I open it [​IMG]
      menu       and select Settings.
    3. Click System.
    4. Click Display.
    5. Scroll down and toggle Lock rotation of this display to OFF.
