Windows 10: 2.4 Wireless headset keeps disconnecting

Happy New Year! I recently got a Steelseries arctis 7 wireless headset for Christmas. It works fine when I am only watching youtube and listening to music. But when I start playing games(Overwatch specifically), it disconnects frequently. Tried the headset on another laptop, it works fine.

I am using a pc and the things I've tried and results:

1. Changed the power options and disabled the USB selective suspend setting; Nothing changed
2. Disabled 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' in Device Manager; Nothing changed
3. I am not using any external storage and tried to move the transmitter to different USB ports; Nothing changed
4. Uninstalled the SteelSeries Engine software; Nothing changed;
5. Switched the headset to the USB on my keyboard which uses two USB slots on my pc; It helps! It did not disconnect for a while and then a random short disconnect will still happen from time to time.
6. Changed settings in the Battlenet app and Overwatch; It didn't disconnect for like 3 games and then started disconnecting again.

If you have experienced a similar issue or know a method to solve it, please help. Thanks.

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

non of these things has helped at all . and the only time I am able to use the headset , audio will disconnect in 3 seconds , if you look at the playback devices you will still see the headphone connect but no sounds is coming from it .

 

My headset and mouse keep disconnecting and my game closes

I just got a new computer with Windows 10 and I have been having problems with some things.

My headset and mouse keep disconnecting when I play games or watch videos. For some reason, when my mouse and keyboard disconnect, my game closes.

Does anyone else have this same problem?

I don't think it has anything to do with the mouse or headset because they are different brands(mouse: Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum, headset: Corsair Void Pro Wireless).

All my drives are up to date and I made sure it wasn't a problem with the USB ports.
