Windows 10: 1803 and 1809 update on 32 GB Acer Aspire Switch

Ok, so let me try and give a brief on this problem. I have scoured the internet everywhere, trying to figure out how to install the update on Media Creation Tool, how to stop the updates and even considering downgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 8 or 8.1. I originally was hoping not to have to resort to coming onto the Microsoft support forums, but I've been given no choice for this absolute crap-stain of an operating system and it's crap update policy.


Right now, my netbook is running on the 1709 update. The system is now demanding that I update to 1803, despite the fact I do not have the memory for such a task. I tried using the Media Creation Tool, but it demands that I free up 8 GB of Data which I simply don't have. I used the Media Creation Tool to update to the 1709 update without an issue. Sadly, this is not the case for the 1803 update which has been bugging me for months.


After that, I used the Show or Hide updates tool, which simply hasn't worked either. It may be able to hide the updates and prevent unexpected updates, but it doesn't get rid of the 4.15 GB worth of memory on the temporary files folder on my netbook, for updates that I don't need and can't install.


Please, for the love of God, can someone tell me how to update this stupid stupid stupid software, or give me an idea on how I can stop them and delete that 4.15 GB worth of data. Any help will be appreciated as long as it's useful. I'm done being polite about this crap and want my netbook which I only use for word processing, emails and listening to music to work properly.

Acer Aspire 5560 not upgrading to windows 10

That Error Code seems to be most frequently associated with/pointing to incompatible Drivers. The Acer Aspire 5560 Model is only listed on the Acer Site under 'Legacy Hardware' as far as I can tell, which suggests they may not be too interested in providing
further firmware/driver updates, but you could try asking on their Forums. According to this site ( http://www.notebook-driver.com/acer/acer-aspire-5560-5560g-windows-driver-utility/ ) the last updates were released in 2012!

 

WU space problem on 32 GB netbook

Acer Aspire One Windows 10 CloudBook (MS Store Signature Edition) has 32 GB drive but only 10-12 GB free. WU requires 20 GB free for latest Win 10 update. How to resolve?

 

Windows 10 update on Acer Aspire Switch 10E

Trying to install latest Windows 10 update on Acer Aspire Switch 10E - it wants 16G of space the tablet section (operating area) doesn't have. is there a work around?
