Windows 10: +1 888 902 6765 legitimate Microsoft support phone number?

Hello Guys,I am helping a friend who I believe may have been scammed by someone posing as Microsoft Support.Is the number +1 888 902 6765 a legitimate Microsoft support phone number? This is the number my friend called. The behavior of the "support" person leads me to believe that he was talking from microsoft and he was one of from certified technicians.Please confirm to all this is correct so that I can best advise him on how to deal with this.

If you are seeing this as a Microsoft Support Number in a web browser, in an Email or if someone called you from that number, please to not respond, that is a Tech Support scam and they can spoof phone numbers . ..
