How do you contact anyone? An employee of Microsoft scammed some big money out of an elderly person i know and getting a hold of someone to report this is ridiculous. The live chat agents aren't concerned and I get back and forth answers.

The only way you can be sure that person works for Microsoft is if you contacted Microsoft support using one of the global support numbers

If that is not how contact was made, or if they contacted you by phone, Email or in a web browser, then that is a scam and they are not Microsoft Employees

Contacted by Scam I was victim to wanting to refund money

I was contacted by a company WINSUPP that I was scammed by previously. They want to refund my money stating that the programs they installed would no longer work on my laptop. After I was scammed I enrolled in your window secure program and they removed
all programs that WINSUPP installed. They will not work with me unless I get online with them and they will send me paperwork to complete. the phone number provided is 805 324 7133 and the agent is Sylvia Joseph. Was this company prosecuted and must refund
money? When I call them back I am going to ask what account number this is in reference to as I have all the paperwork. They will probably want a bank account number to deposit the money. As long as I don't give them a check number I don't believe they
can withdraw any money. Can they access my laptop if I am line with them? I would love to have the money back but don't want to be victim to a scam again. PLease advise.

 

GUIDE:How to transfer contacts from Microsoft Outlook to Gmail

I'm sitting here in the office, its the end of the year in the school system, and several employees transferring to alternative counties. With this it brings loads of transferring contacts to take with them from their company phone. Well, this one in particular sparked a guide idea. So here it is, How to transfer Outlook contacts to your Gmail account.


Step 1: Sign in to your outlook account.
step 2 In the top left hand corner click File > Import/Export > Export to file > Browse to desired place to save your file > export. Be sure you export the file as .csv (comma separated values)
Step 3 Log into your Gmail account
Step 4 Select 'Contacts' In the subsection you will see a 'Import' button on the right-hand side. Click it.
Step 5 Browse to the location where you saved it > Open it > Click Import.



I would have provided pictures, but I use neither Outlook or Gmail. Hope someone somewhere gets some use from this. *Toast :toast:
