    EVENT ID 1000

About every 90 seconds my screen blacks out for just a split second and the taskbar crashes (disappears and recovers). I have done the "sfc/scannow" and it tells me there is no violation of integrity. Someone else mentioned "IDT Audio control
    panel
". But I don't think I have it installed (or even have it.)

I checked the event viewer and it lists every occurrence of the problem. It labels it "Event ID: 1000", and says something about explorer.exe. Below is the information it gives me... kinda long, but if anyone could help, it would be just great!

    Event ID 1000 Application Error

Event ID error 1000 - random freezes

For some time I have been getting the above error which manifests with Windows freezing and then the PC losing connection to the monitor requiring a restart. The faulting application is the AMD driver for my graphics card. I have tried reinstalling the current driver numerous times and for a short time that restores stability but the error always returns. I have also tried the usual sfc and DISM fixes. The freezing occurs usually a few minutes after startup. I may be in Outlook or Edge or playing a game when it happens. There does not seem to be any particular app causing the freezing to happen. This is the information from Eventviewer:

Is anyone able to advise me?
