    Accidentally uninstalled my keyboard driver.


    I have tried troubleshooting, restarting, and updating. Nothing is working. The keyboard tab doesn’t even show up in the device manager menu including when I click, show hidden devices. I have gone to the Asus website and tried to download the drivers from there. However device manager says it cannot find any .INF files.

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused Accidentally uninstalled my keyboard driver. :confused:

    I accidentally uninstalled my keyboard driver and lost it in the device manager . so my keyboard isn't working. I have tried all means to get it back including restarting my pc and haven't succeeded. kindly need your help .

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay in replying.

    Uninstall and reinstall the Keyboard driver from manufacturer’s website.

    Follow these steps to Uninstall Keyboard driver.


    • Press Windows key + X to select Device Manager.

    • Search for Keyboard driver and expand it.

    • Right click on the Keyboard driver and select Uninstall.

    • Follow the onscreen directions to complete the process and restart the computer.

    Further, I suggest you to download the latest keyboard drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
