    Windows 11 crashes a lot, but I had one of the worst cases.


    It was really REALLY bad to the point I could no longer even use any program. All programs were frozen, there was a black screen for a long time, and when I click on a useable program, it freezes too. I had to COMPLETELY restart the machine, and I lost a lot of my work that I COULDN'T EVEN SAVE! Windows 11 has RIDICULUOUS hardware requirements that you have to have a GAMING LAPTOP in order to do basic things such as studying or typing word documents or surfing the web. and sometimes even THOSE fail. And also don't forget about the landfills either Microsoft is STILL unfazed that they are mak

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

    I think this is worst windows 11 OS. each time it updates, it crashes. meaning you loss all your files.

    Hp cannot help, microsoft cannot help also.
