    Hey there,I have a game running on a borderless setting. I have disabled full-screen optimizations for that game specifically, I have tried running it in Windows 8 compatibility mode, but nothing.The issue is:1. When I have the game on and I would like to use something else, let's say view a folder, if I Alt-Tab to the folder, the game minimizes and goes in the background. I need to view the game and the folder simultaneously.2. If I minimize everything, then open a folder, or right-click on the desktop, the game pops up in the background, allowing me to overlay stuff on it, achieving what I w

    What is the "magic" of alt+tab?

    run in borderless windowed mode, and avoid that requirement of Alt+Tab. it looks the same as fullscreen, but it will fixed issues tied with running in Fullscreen.

    Is alt+tabbing bad for your monitor or TV?

    Well your monitor will only go on and off from Alt+ TAB if you are switching from an odd resolution to the desktop resolution.
    Also you could just windowed borderless.

    What is the "magic" of alt+tab?

    Alt+tab may be changing it from borderless full screen to full screen. If you have more than one GPU installed, it could also be transitioning the game between GPUs.
