    Will a fresh install of windows remove the possibility of a keylogger?


    Hi, Wanted to be absolutely safe since i recently, accidently clicked an infected websitedidn't download anything etc but the site itself allows you to download something that was supposedly infected with a keylogger. I reinstalled my OS, deleted the partition on the hard drive. Is this sufficient to remove a software based keylogger? I also noticed there was a small amount of data on the same drive that was a pre-existing partition, presumably from the manufacturer but i have no idea whats in this. I'm not sure whether i need to delete it, and i was not using this when i clicked the website

    somehow i got a keylogger and i scanned it with Malwarebytes and it show up 3 malwares and i deleted it. so it is remove?
