Windows 10: I am locked out of my Windows 10 Computer in UEFI Mode

Hi I am locked out of my windows 10 Cyberpower PC, I tried reformatting/ resetting it in UEFI Mode and I forgot the master password, I need help to reset my computer I am totally confused am need help getting back into it.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

UEFI vs Legacy boot mode

Yep, UEFI mode with Win 10 loading I get the Asus logo.

IIRC there maybe an option within motherboard UEFI to disable the Asus logo but not looked into it. On another forum I have read that what logo you get at Win 10 loading is the easiest way to know what bios mode OS is in.

If system is booting in legacy mode - you get Windows Logo.
If system is booting in UEFI mode - you get OEM logo.

Above also applies to Win 8 but not Win 7.

• Do you remember making any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
• Did you change UEFI boot mode after upgrading to Windows 10?

I would like to inform that there might be some changes occurred to the boot files. Hence try startup repair using ISO file as I have suggested earlier and check if it helps.
