Windows 10: SSMA Data Migration Issue DB2 to MSSQL 2022

Request your expert advice and support.We need to migrate the Tables from Source AS400 DB2 to Target MSSQL 2022 server.Following steps has been followed by us -Installed SQL Server Migration Assistant software for DB2, Configured source database connection as DB2 for I AS400, Target to MSSQL database. We have performed convert schema option for existing schema in AS400. When we execute the downloaded script from SSMA it is throwing error for Primary keys on all the tables in schema. Tables are created in target MSSQL server without primary keys and ignored.Problem is we

SSMA crashing, data import

I have Office 365 32 bit, Windows 11 64 bit and SQL Server 64 bit.

The SSMA keeps crashing on the data import. I read a thread where a user had the same problem, but he is running all 64 bit apps. Is there a way to get this 32/64 bit setup to work right?

Now, I just uninstalled the database engine file, and SSMA and I cannot install either because I am running 32 bit or 64 bit Office products. However, Office is 32 bit, so I fail to see where the 32 bit database engine and SSMA think I am running 64 bit Office.

SSMAforAccess crash when migrating data

Hello!

Got a weird problem with SSMA v8.12 and haven't found anything on the internet that got me closer to a resolution.

SSMA crashes at the migration data step. All previous steps work fine. Tables are migrated. As soon as the data migration step starts, it tries to connect but then the SSMA tool just crashes.

My sytem: Windows 10 64-bit; O365 64-bit; Target is SQL Server 2019, local instance. The MS Access database is also local. An older version of the SSMA tool has worked on the system. Unfortunately I don't have the old version anymore. I can see what potentially
the problem could be but I'm clueless how to fix it.

Has anybody seen the same and found a solution? Thanks!

How do I delete C:\Users\MSSQL$ADK ?

Hi,

Have you installed any SQL programs? If you do, MSSQL$ADK is related to that program in
utilizing and handling data management for that specific program. Although this program is harmless to remove, we still suggest to ignore this since that there is no harm is being done to your computer. However,
if you want to remove this, follow these steps:

• 
  Open
  File Explorer
  and right click on
  Local Disk (C.
  
• 
  Choose
  Properties.
  
• 
  Under
  Security Tab,
  To change permissions, click Edit.
  
• 
  Choose
  Full Control.
  
• 
  Select
  Apply
  and click
  OK.
  

Try to check if you now see
MSSQL$ADK.
