  2. Credit card not recognised to download pay for apps

    Phone is a HTC Trophy

    os version 7.0.7392.0

    Every time I try to download a pay for app I get a message that I do not have a credit card linked to the phone. I have added different credit cards to try to overcome this But it does not recognise them. The credit card is listed in Windows when I sign
    in. Any ideas what is wrong. HTC have advised me that I need to check with Windows support before they will do anything with the phone settings.

    Deleting a credit card

    Hi Melonie,

    If you are unable to remove the credit cards you've listed under Payments & Billing, try updating your payment method by following the steps indicated on this

    . If that didn't work, kindly retry removing your credit cards after 1-3 days.

    nokia lumia 710 i have added a credit card but when i try to purchase a game it says no credit card on file .

    I have listed a credit card as per instructions but when i click pay to pay for a game it says no credit card on file and gives the option to add a credit card. When i try to re add the credit card it says it is already on file!! Does this mean i cannot
    purchase anything and only down load free items?
