Windows 10: KB5055523 Windows 11 breaks old Eclipse Galileo

After installing KB5055523, Eclipse Galileo won't start.The splash screen displays for a few milliseconds and then closes. No error messages or event entries appear in Event Log — nothing at all — yet Eclipse Galileo won't start.JDK is set to 1.7.0_80 x32, and Eclipse IDE uses JDK 1.6.0_45.When uninstalling KB5055523, Eclipse Galileo starts as usual; when reinstalling KB5055523, it fails.

Uninstal Eclipse IDE

Hello, I've installed Eclipse IDE (c/c++) since I'm doing a short training in 'C'.

The problem is that it doesn't work and Codeblocks works fine, so I want to uninstall Eclipse,

but it doesn't appear in the programs list and there isn't any uninstall option in the program.

Can anybody tell me how to uninstall Eclipse ?

Windows 10 Pro and Ergnomic Break Reminder

Apologies for the late reply.



Do you remember installing any break reminder software?



It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.



I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.



Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command
  
• 
  Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  
• 
  Search for the programs and un-install it.

Not able to install eclipse-javascript-helios-win32-x86_64\eclipse in windows 10

Mission: To get eclipse installed in my windows 10 machine for java script web development.

Problem: Eclipse wont get launched after clicking the icon from downloaded/unzipped file.

Step1.

Went to http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/index-helios.php

Step2.

Downloaded Eclipse IDE for JavaScript Web Developers, 108 MB ( 64 bit )

downloaded and unzipped : eclipse-javascript-helios-win32-x86_64\eclipse

Step3.

Click on eclipse icon.

The time sand box appears for a brief 2 secs and then there is no reaction at all...(system did not hang as well)

Please advice how to proceed...
