Windows 10: Can Windows 11 Upgrade Path via .iso and Creation Tool be made Language Independent?

Considering how keen Microsoft is to get us all of Win 10, you would expect the upgrade path was easy and solid. But, what a mess it is. For no reason I am aware, the Windows Update nag entries have gone, so that wasn't an option. PC Health doesn't give a link to get it done either.This is how we are supposed to do it: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11 I have 3 PC's to update from Win 10 Pro to Win 11. So I thought to streamline the process and download the Media Creation tool and made a usb, which mentioned various 0xc000012f bad image problems when trying to ru

Win 10 ISO media creation tool problems

That is Tech Bench, which different from the Microsoft Media Creation Tool. Microsoft provides several methods for obtaining Windows 10:

• Upgrade Assistant
• Media Creation Tool
• Windows Update

If you read further in the article, you will see where the option is giving to save the ISO file which can be saved to a different location:

Creating a .ISO file

For the purposes of this exercise, we are gonna use the .ISO option.





Select ISO file, then click Save





Select your location and click Save.



Wait while the .ISO image is created.

I'm very confused with the reading of the Media Creation Tool! On the 19th I downloaded both the 32 bits and 64 bits Windows 10 Pro 1511 10586 .ISO's (Dutch & English). Why is the language of this tool US-UK?

Does the 10240 mean you downloaded a previous (older) release of Windows 10 Pro?

Windows Upgrade Repair WIn10 or Win11 Media Creation Tool?
