Windows 10: Hello my laptop has been disconnecting from the wifi all the time and won't reconnect until...

So my laptop will disconnect from the wifi and then say that I don't have any internet access or any internet available and won't let me reconnect to the wifi unless I restart it multiple times and it's not a network adapter problem because my phone works perfectly fine on the internet so if you could help me I will appreciate it alot thank you

Laptop keeps disconnecting from wifi, have to restart to reconnect

For a few days now, my laptop keeps randomly disconnecting from the wifi. The wifi is fine -- it still works on other devices -- and is still available with full bars but refuses to reconnect unless I restart my laptop, at which point it'll be connected and working fine again (until the the next time).


I've tried updating the wireless adapter drivers and turning off WiFi Sense but no dice.

It's actually the opposite problem to that; the wifi will disconnect while I'm using the laptop and restarting it or putting it to sleep and waking it back up again will reconnect it.

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.
