Windows 10: Using phone link. Does deleting photos on laptop will also delete it to my phone?

I want to delete a photo on my laptop that has been linked to my phone gallery. Does deleting the photo on my laptop also delete it from my phone? Because I don't want to let anyone to see some photos in my phone if they are going to use my laptop.

What do you mean by the Phone Link app deleted your photos, did you choose to delete those photos manually yourself, what s the exact steps you performed?

I am so sorry to hear that you are having a sync issue when deleting photos on your Samsung S21 but still appearing on the phone link app. Close the Phone Link app, and then please open your computer's SETTIGS > go to APPS > under Apps & features, please search for the Phone Link then click it > click ADVANCED OPTIONS > under Reset, click REPAIR then try checking again if the Phone Link is synced now when deleting photos. If not, choose RESET.

I have the Phone Link app on my Windows 11 with version 1.23082.131.0 linked to my Samsung S21 FE 5G Android 13 One UI 5.1, which is working smoothly when deleting photos on my phone and also gets deleted on the Phone Link app instantly.

It sounds like your photos deleted from gallery have also been deleted on Onedrive.

First I suggest you try to check maybe the Deleted Galary on your phone to see if it's possible to get deleted photos back. Then you may try to visit the OneDrive website to see if the photos you synced are there. If not, you may follow the steps listed on this link | Find lost or missing files in OneDrive (microsoft.com) to see if they could be found back.
