Windows 10: Windows 11 on my HP laptop with a docking station and multiple monitors not supported as...

Using Windows 10 on my HP laptop with a docking station I was able to run four sperate monitors 3 external & the laptop. I migrated to Windows 11 today and now the third and forth monitors connected via the docking station work fine but the second monitor, connected directly to the laptop, cannot be its own display. It can only mirror the laptop. The system recognizes it but identifies the laptop and second monitor as 1/2 and not their own display. Is there a work around for this? It work natively in Windows 10.

Issues detecting external monitors with HP Docking Station on windows 11 Laptop

Hi all,

I have a HP monitor (HP E24u G4 FHD USB-C ) and a HP laptop (HP Elitebook 830 G8) that runs on Windows 11. Both my laptop and monitor work perfectly when connected to each other.

I have just bought a HP USB-C/A Universal Dock G2. When I connect my HP monitor to my HP docking station, it is not detected. The keyboard and mouse (both non-HP products) are detected. I have updated the drivers but it's still not working.

I'm getting this message when I connect my docking station "display connection might be limited".

Can someone help? This is the 2nd docking station I try (I tried to the Wavlink docking station) and none of them work on my laptop. This is really frustrating!

Dual Monitors connecting to Docking Station

I have an HP laptop, running Windows 7, with an HP docking station. I also have dual LG monitors. I have one monitor connected through the VGA port. I have a Displayport to HDMI cable for the second monitor. The display ports on the docking station
are ++. The HDMI monitor will wake up when connected, it asks if I want to connect, but I cannot answer OK. It then goes to sleep. I have the monitors set to extend, and I keep the laptop closed. Both monitors work, using the VGA, so I know it isn't a
monitor issue. Suggestions?
