Windows 10: I just got a new computer but it says "Another app is installing right now. Wait until it...

I just got a new computer, and I was going to redownload the epic games app, but it said "another app is installing right now. Wait until it finishes, then try again" I tried to search online, and reset my computer but I just don't know what to do. This also happens with Terraria on steam and possibly other games maybe. I don't know what to do and I just want to play.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

Step 1: I suggest you to end the task in task manager.

• 
  Go to task bar
  
• 
  Right click on task bar
  
• 
  Select task manager
  
• 
  Click on apps and end the task.
  

Step 2: Go to appwiz.cpl and locate to the apps, right click on apps and uninstall apps.

If the issue persists I suggest you to create new user account and check if it helps.

Step 3: You may check the same issue with the new user account.

Try these steps to create a new user account and check if it fixes the issue. Refer to the steps below to create a new User Account:

• 
  Go to Settings.
  
• 
  Choose Accounts
  and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
  
• 
  Select Add an Account.
  
• 
  Enter a user name and hit Next.
  
• 
  Click on Finish.
  
• 
  Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
  
• 
  Check if issue persists.

The installation of the said programs may have affected some system files. We suggest running System File Checker (SFC) tool, to resolve this issue. SFC will repair and replace any corrupted or missing system files. Follow the steps below to do so:

• Right-click on Start menu button and select
  Command Prompt.
• Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
• Wait for the scan to finish and restart your computer.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
