    Hello,Simple question, nothing too fancy.I open the file explorer 4k monitor, 4k resolution, resize it for example at 800x800 and put it on the buttom right corner next to the edge of the screen and abot the taskbar. After that I close the windows explorer, and open it again, the windows opens in the center of the screen and the default size.Why isn't windows 11 remember the position and size of my window? Something that has been a feature for a very, very, very long time. the same thing applies for almost every apps steam is an exception, Battle net also.I have 1 display, I have tried di

    Remembering Window Position

    I have Windows 11 and cannot save window position and size after shutdown. It will remember when it's opened/closed during the day without shutdown. After re-starting it will open to a fixed prior position, but not the last one prior to shutdown. I have tried all recommended actions on line, tweaking the bagMRU registry setting, "restore previous folder windows at logon" from Folder Options, etc., nothing seems to work. Anyone have suggestions on how to do this so I don't have to adjust window position after startup? Thanks for all suggestions. |

    Nice if Start screen "remembered" its position

    This is not really a problem to be solved now, but a suggestion to Microsoft for a future update or version of Windows.

    It would be nice if the Start screen remembered its position. For example, if I open the Start screen and scroll down to those applications that start with the letter "W", the next time I open the Start screen, it reverts back to displaying the top of the
    list. It would be nice if it "remembered" I was on "W" and opened at that position.
