Windows 10: Why are the recent 23-24h2 updates such an untested mess?!

You guys keep putting out compatibility issues with the world's most popular GPU company, Nvidia, but don't seem to be addressing the issue. If it's that hard, maybe hire new employees who can issue patches that work for most people. I mean one glance at reviews and forums of 24h2 and the previous versions show anyone just how messed up and neglected this issue is......Im very disappointed with the quality of products coming from MS....

There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

 

after windows update on 11/23/17 my screen resolution is messed up.

OS Build 15063.726

HP p6677c

ATI Radeon HD 4200

Monitor/Display is HP 2310c (Native resolution 1920x1080)

I have gone back to 13-Jan-15 driver (8.970.100.9001), the July 2017 driver is the problem, I'm worried that auto update will update with the bad driver again.

First, I would suggest you to follow the steps from the link given below and check if it helps in importing favorites from Edge:

Then I would you to try the troubleshooter and check:

  Type Troubleshooting in the search box and press Enter.
  
• 
  Click on View All in the top left pane.
  
• 
  From the list click on System Maintenance and follow the on screen prompts.
  

I suggest you to install all the pending updates after upgrade to Windows 10.

1. Connect to the internet.

2. Press Windows key and type updates.

3. Click on Check for updates.

4. Under Windows Updates, click on Check
for updates.

5. Try to install the updates being shown.
