Windows 10: these stubborn tmp file wont go away

i did a system restore not long ago and found a copy of my windowsapps folder named WindowApps.tmp, which contained the same space and data as the former. However, I cannot delete it and i dont want it cluttering my storage. Is there a way to delete this?

How to change location of MSI????.tmp file

You may change the location of the .tmp file by following the steps provided below:

• Go to This PC.
• Right-click This PC, and then select Advanced System Setting.
• Click Environment Variables.
• Under system variable, double-click tmp and change the path for the file of your reference.
