Windows 10: How do I prevent Windows 11 Pro to shutdown during long idle time e.g. when I am sleeping

As subject says, question is super simple. How do I prevent Windows 11 Pro to shutdown during long idle time e.g. when I am sleeping ? My OS build is 26100.3775. Why don't have very simple setting such as yes/no to shutdown machine or not to shutdown machine. What I want, when after long period of time I tap keyboard or mouse, I will be prompt for PIN or Password, if I am using those. I have tried many power setting combinations and haven't figured this out. So, question is ultimately; what settings I need to do in order to keep my Windows11Pro up and running as long as I personally shut it

Windows 11 Sleep turns into abruptly shutdown (most of the times)

Windows 11 PRO, 23H2

In the last couple of weeks, my PC is acting up (only 1 year old). The sleep function (from window idle after a few minutes, or power->sleep menu) turns into an expected shutdown (blank screen, shutdown, no sign of anything like normal sleep entry). This happens 9 out of 10 times. Not every single time.

Only thing in event log was "the previous system shutdown at xxx was unexpected".

Update BIOS, windows to latest already, restored power scheme to default etc. No differences. Nothing else is out of ordinary. Windows runs fine otherwise.

Anyway to debug this? I can't find any dump file.

 

Windows 11 won't sleep after idle time

Hello all.

I am having a problem with my system sleeping whilst idle. It wont do it. I have tried every fix I can find including changing plan settings within Windows to using the "sfc /scannow" command in the CMD. I have prevented devices from waking Windows in the device manager and I've even disabled fast boot in Windows and in my BIOS and nothing seems to be working. It will go to sleep perfectly fine if I press it in the power options but not after it has been left idle for my specified amount of time. I did also have this issue with Windows 10 before I upgraded to Windows 11 too.

Other thing to note is that my Windows 10 installation was fresh this week before upgrading to Windows 11 today.

 

Very long reboot or shutdown win 11

I have a strange behavior with my windows 11 pro that it tacked up to 2 min 25 sec to reboot or shutdown the computer!

It’s a fresh install without any programs install just drivers and f-security and all the updates of windows 11 pro!

Is there a way to see what’s taken so long time to shutdown or reboot!!

I have AMD Gigabytes z570 aoura master motherboard with two nvme disk 1TB gigabyte

And a 2TB Samsung nvme disk

64GB ddr4 3600MHz and asus rog 1080 Graphic card

This problem with reboot does not exist on windows 10 or Linux! So it’s not hardware problem because it works correctly in windows 10 or Manjaro 21.2.1 Linux

What I have tested:

A) I have disabled fast start up In powesettings

B) Fix power settings

C) Disabled any auto startup

D) reinstall windows

E) updated drivers

F) disabled fast start up in UEFI

G) started fast start up in UEFI

No difference between F and G

I wounder if it can be a windows update that makes this trouble!

Beside the reboot and shutdown the system works flawlessly!!

So what causes this slow reboot or shutdown
