Screenshots being saved on clipboard and not in a folder

Hello, this is a continuation of my previous thread. It seems like my screenshots are being saved on the clipboard and not being saved in a folder. How can I make it save on a folder? When I try to search about this, I read about this happening when using a snipping tool. I don't recall having installed or doing anything with snipping tool.https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_11-files/screenshots-not-saving-or-cannot-be-found/ea3e4a19-24ee-44fc-9c02-cc3662081c5bThank you so much for your guidance!

HELP! Screenshots are not being saved (to screenshot folder)?

I cant seem to find my screenshots anywhere.

Even after taking a screenshot [Shift + Windows + S], the screenshot folder [One Drive > Pictures > Screenshots] remains empty.

i’ve made sure to tick the ‘Save Screenshots I capture to OneDrive’ from OneDrive settings and to no avail.

The screenshot i take would be there on the clipboard [Windows + V] but thats all. The only option i find is to delete it off the clipboard

  3. Where are screenshots saved?

Hi Russell, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Steven and I'm an independent advisor.

If you press PrtScn on the keyboard, the screenshot is saved in the clipboard. Once you press PrtScn, then open the Pain app (or Skype, etc), then hold down the ctrl + V on your keyboard, the screenshot will be pasted there.

However if you want to take a screenshot of the whole screen, I suggest you hold down the Windows Key and Press PrtSc. In this case the screenshot will automatically be saved in the folder Pictures\Screenshots folder.

Screenshots save to Clipboard twice for every screenshot when using Windows + Shift + S

When I take a screenshot with Windows + Shift + S sometimes it saves twice in my clipboard. I have tried the steps recommended in this other post but it did not seem to fix the issue. Redirecting
