    unable to view raw files


    how to delete raw file extension? it says its downloaded in the store but does not work in the file explorer, i cant find the app in the app library, i cant delete it, i cant find it in search or anywhere even though it says its downloaded in the Microsoft store, what should i do??

    UNABLE TO VIEW RAW CAMERA PICTURES

    HI...i have a Dell laptop with windows 10 ...I can download and view JPEG camer pictures

    i an unable however to view the downloaded RAW pictures ...I get a message that the format is not supported

    I have downloaded and ciewed RAW pictures in the past

    please advise on fix

    Ideally, the RAW images created by the cameras need their own software or extensions to work on Windows 10. The Raw Image Extension adds native viewing support for images captured in raw file formats produced by many mid- to high-end digital
    cameras. By installing the package, you will be able to view thumbnails and metadata of supported raw file formats right in Windows File Explorer or view images in the Photos app. You may install the
    Raw Image Extension from the Microsoft
    Store and see if it helps.



    If the issue persists, I suggest you to get in touch with the Nikon support and see if they can help you with the software or plugin to access RAW files.

    I have a Canon 6d Markii which uses .CR2 RAW files I am wondering why as October 7, 2018 I still can't view RAW files on Windows 10, Can anyone help me out with some info?
