Windows 10: UCM-UCSI ACPI Device driver error

Hi, I’m experiencing a Code 43 error where Windows stops a device because it reports problems. Specifically, it’s happening with the UCM-UCSI ACPI Device. I’ve tried troubleshooting it, but the issue keeps extending to other related devices, including USB drivers and other USB Type-C management drivers.Checked the Device in Device Manager: The error message states “Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43” when I check the properties of the device.Uninstalled and Reinstalled the Device: I uninstalled the UCM-UCSI ACPI Device and restarted, but it doesn’t reso

I've had the same problem with UCM-UCSI ACPI Device driver 43 error on Windows 11.

I resolved thanks to this thread:

So, the solution to me has been to shut down the computer and then press the Power button during 50 seconds.

UCM-UCSI ACPI Device driver error

Hello, I have some problems with my HP 846 G9 laptop with Windows 11 22h2. My USB-TYPE C ports have problems.

For the UCM-UCSI ACPI Device, it reports an error that "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".



UCSI PPM failed to complete the UCSI command promptly. Please contact the UCSI device or system manufacturer to investigate.

(Command: SetNotificationEnable)

When I try to plug in a USB HUB with an HDMI port and try to use an external monitor connected to the HUB, no connection is reported and no image appears probably due to the UCM-UCSI ACPI Device driver error.

I try to reply to you answer, I think doesn't apply to my case:

- In similar cases in some forums in other languages, it can be related to BIOS cache errors and may require a reset to release BIOS data.

My HP has an AMD cpu, not Intel.

BIOS is up to date.

Similar PC with Windows 10 works perfectly.. I think is a problem with Windows 11. All PCs in my company running windows 11 have the same issue.
