Windows 10: Discord voice and sound effects keep changing in volume mixer

The dicord sound effects when muting or other sounds keeps going to 100 or in reverse the voice volume goes to 15 and i dont know why i THINK it resets when i start my PC. It wasnt happening until recently and the only noticable thing was the discord update which added new look to it.

Volume mixer auto adjust discord volume

Hi, I have a problem with discord volume in the volume mixer. There are two discord slides, one is for a notification (mic muted, received msg) and the second one is for voice channels. I need one of them more quietly but after I adjust one of them, windows automatically adjust the second too after a while. Thanks for your help.

 

Volume Mixer Changing by Itself

I have an issue where the volume mixer changes the volume of apps and games randomly, usually lowering the volume. This gets annoying because I have to raise the master volume for watching videos in Chrome, then forget that the master volume is high and
get into a game an hear louder-than-preferred volumes. I also can barely hear incoming Discord calls sometimes and find out the volume mixer turned Discord's volume very low. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance!

 

Stop Sound Mixer from changing volume

The volume sound mixer doesn't change the volume itself, it just reflects the current state of the volume.

The program itself is what's changing the volume, and the sound mixer shows this.

The solution depends on what program is causing the volume to change. Some programs have automatic adjustment settings you can disable. What program is getting its volume changed?
