    So, a few days back my Laptop started to have issues and after some attempts of troubleshooting, it doesn't want to work and just goes into read-only mode. I did some hardware scan prior to that and it said that my SSD, as well as all other hardware is completely fine and it's an OS corruption that caused it. I'm unsure if this is a good idea, since I'm not that much of a tech fella and have just enough knowledge to know how to fix a few issues, and do some hardware care such as cleaning and changing thermal paste.I am worried to do this, even though I've been considering it all night and a lo

    Thank you for responding.

    I suggest you to try the below steps to exit from the Safe mode on Windows 10.

    Steps to place the computer in normal mode.

    • Press Windows + R keys to open
      Run command.
    • Type msconfig and press
      Enter.
    • In the System Configuration window, click on
      General tab.
    • Select Start-up selection as
      Normal startup, click on Apply
      and Ok.
    • Follow onscreen instructions.

    Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

    Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

    • Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
      keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
      Enter.
    • Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
    • Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

    Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.

    Need to exit safe mode.

    specialist restarted my computer in safe mode to do a workaround to fix corruption caused during Windows update overnight. Files are not listed under Documents any more. Just apparently in TEMP folder. However, specialist has not done anything since
    restarting in safe mode 2 hours ago. How do I safely exit safe mode?
