Windows 10: I keep getting the error "process exited with code 1" when trying to run a cmd script

I downloaded a CMD script for a game, but everytime i run it with administrator, the Command prompt flashes for half a second and instantly closes. I managed to capture what it says before closing, and it simply says this at the end and closes[process exited with code 1 0x00000001] You can now close this terminal with Ctrl+D, or press Enter to restart.I tried a common fix for this found online that involves the powershell command:C:\Windows\System32\reg.exe DELETE "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor" /v AutoRun /fAnd the CMD command with administrator: sfc /scannowNeither of those

I am dealing with an extremely frustrating error with the command prompt in Windows 11. Whenever I try to open cmd.exe or run a .bat file, the screen will flicker, but neither cmd.exe nor the .bat file will open and run.

When I access the command prompt from within Windows Terminal, I get the following error: `[process exited with code 1]`.

I have already tried running `sfc /scannow` in Powershell, since I cannot run command prompt, but the system does not find any issues. Similarly, I tried to restore using `DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth` but it does not find any issues.

This is extremely frustrating. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.
