Windows 10: Window 11 Search not working properly.

I accidentally made a lot of my files hidden, instead of being able to see hidden files. I then undid the mistake, and now my search function works selectively for some files, while not for others.I have tried the basic stuff, like restarting windows search and re-indexing the search, and some windows prebuild repair tools, but nothing is working.I tried reinstalling a program that did not show up, but that still did not work.I also encountered the same problem on Windows 10, which is really disappointing to see is still an issue here.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Restart the Service and check if it helps.

  Select Windows Search.

  Restart the services and set the service as Automatic.
  

Step 2: Run the
Search and Indexing troubleshooter.

Follow the steps below and check if it helps.

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Search and Indexing

We suggest that you try to run Hardware and Device troubleshooter using the steps below:

• Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
• Click Run the troubleshooter.

We also suggest that you update the keyboard driver and check if it work.

Windows 11 Features Not Working Properly

I've been experiencing persistent issues with some of the basic features on my Windows 11 laptop. Specifically, the Win+R shortcut and the three-finger tap to open search are not functioning correctly. These features work for about 5 seconds after I restart my laptop, but then they stop working again.

I've tried several troubleshooting steps, including:

1. Restarting the laptop multiple times
   
2. Checking for Windows updates and installing any available updates
   
3. Running the Windows Troubleshooter for keyboard and general system issues
   
4. Performing a system scan using sfc /scannow
   
5. Updating all drivers, especially for the keyboard and touchpad
   
6. Checking and adjusting settings in the Control Panel and Windows Settings
   

Despite these efforts, the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, how did you resolve it? Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
