Windows 10: Access Code not dropping in my Microsoft Account

My PC wants me to sign in with my Microsoft account, with a prompt to send a code to the account, I have clicked on the prompt to accept the code in my Microsoft account, but no code was received in the account. I have tried severally with no avail, and I can't since gain access to open my PC.

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

 

Microsoft access code text

My brother also got Microsoft access code and seemed worried. I tried to try different permutations to get the same by making changes to an outlook account however everytime I got Microsoft account access code and not Microsoft access code.

Kindly provide the steps to simulate how to get Microsoft access code. Or valid reason why it gets generated?

Definitely not on any changes to outlook and hotmail account. As mentioned, there we always get Microsoft account access code.
