Windows 10: UNABLE TO RECEIVE CODE FROM MICROSOFT

I have a Microsoft Account which I've been using to logon to my laptop until today. Now when I enter my email address Windows says it has sent a code to my email address but when I check my email on my phone or another laptop there's no code. I'm thus locked out. I'm able to open my account via the web but failing to logon to Windows using the email address. I can receive emails from others but no code from Microsoft. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I understand you're not receiving a verification code for your Microsoft account. If your security info's are up to date, you may be experiencing delays receiving the code which I have also experienced before. But if you have already waited too long and have made a couple of attempts, I suggest following the suggested steps in the "Troubleshooting verification code issues" section on the support page below.
