Windows 10: Authenticator App not displaying code

Hello, I am trying to sign into my college Gmail account and I’ve always used the Authenticator app to verify it’s me. However I have been trying to sign in since yesterday and no code is displaying on my app. Therefore, it is not letting me access my school Gmail and I need to urgently check my emails and there’s no other way to verify your account unless it’s with that app.

At the top choose Security and Privacy

Under Account Security choose More Security Settings

Scroll down for the following

Before you can set up an identity verification app, you need to add another phone number or alternate email address, or verify an existing one.

• Set up identity verification app
  
• Turn off existing apps

Choose Set Up identity verification app which will give you the barcode/secret code you need to get your authenticator app going.

Be sure to verify the pairing was successful by entering the code generated on the newly setup app.

You may follow this steps to add your linkedin from your authenticator app.

1. Install an authenticator app from your app store (such as Microsoft Authenticator).

2. Select the profile icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage and select Settings & Privacy.

3.Under the Sign-in & security, select Two-step verification to enable or change your two-step verification method.

4. Enable two-step verification and choose Authenticator App as your verification method. Select Continue and submit your LinkedIn password.

5. Open your authenticator app and tap Add Account or click the + icon at the top right corner. If this is your first time setting up an account on the app, you’ll be prompted to set up an account.

6. Select Other and use “LinkedIn” as the account name.

7. Enter the secret key provided by LinkedIn into the Authenticator App.

8. Enter the 6-digit verification code generated by your authenticator app to verify your device.
