Windows 10: Connecting Wireless earbuds to a PC, only appearing as "connected music", not as "voice"

Hello,I'm connecting Soundpeats Air 5 earbuds to my PC Dell Latitude 5450. I wanted to use them for listening to music but also for some voice calls on teams. The problem is that the device does only connect as "music", not as "voice" and I cannot get its microphone to work. Tried following suggestions from similar threads, like this one:https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/bluetooth-headset-connects-only-as-music-not-voice/23ea9ca1-d215-429b-859a-cc420afe80b2but nothing helps. No hidden devices are visible in Bluetooth section in Device Manager.Please help!

Bose QC Earbuds Connect for Music & Audio but not Voice

Hi all,

I've been using my Bose QC Earbuds as a headset for Zoom calls on my work computer (running Win10) for a while now. I've realized that, even though there's a built-in microphone in the earbuds, that audio source is not connected to my laptop. A perfect example is I'm hearing audio through my earbuds, but the only active microphone is the laptop's built-in mic. When I go into the Bluetooth settings, the earbuds are shown using a headset icon (i.e. headphones with a microphone) but they only show as "connected music" or "connected audio". I have another pair of Sony wireless headphones with a built-in mic and when I connect those, it'll show as "connected audio, voice".

I went into the Device Properties from the Devices & Printers panel and noticed that all the services were checked EXCEPT "handsfree telephony". When I selected it I got an error saying "The parameter is incorrect." Bose help has also been useless.

My Otto TW300 earbuds are only connecting to music and not voice

Today when I tried to connect my earbuds, they wouldn't connect properly as they would only connect for voice but when I tried them on Friday they connected for voice and music and I do not know what has happened as I have not used them over the weekend. I have tried removing and re-connecting them as before this they were only connecting to voice and not music. I do not know what happened when I removed the device in settings.

 

Paring wireless earbuds

When I try to pair True Wireless Earbuds T16 to my laptop it just lists "unknown device". It shows it is connecting but then it says connection failed
