Windows 10: Windows 11 Not Printing Multiple Pages Per Sheet

Hi there! I have always had this issue but just ignored it. It has now come to a head for me, so here I am seeking any assistance I can get.I am running Windows 11 on a Dell laptop. Whenever I try to print multiple pages per sheet, it only prints one per page, but it does shrink the page down to the proportionate size needed to fit multiple pages per sheet. I'll include screenshots to show what I am referring to. I am trying to print to a Brother MFC 7360N printer. So first I updated the printer drivers to no avail. Also, I have this issue when using the Cute PDF Writer, so I don't think it

Thank you for your speedy response.

My printer (which is the one I have been using successfully with my old laptop using Windows 10) is an HP model and I installed it on my new laptop using the HP Smart app so I am pretty sure that all the relevant drivers etc are in place. In fact, if you go to the HP site looking for drivers you are directed to HP Smart.

Let me add a few more points about this problem. As I indicated, if I go to Windows Settings and drill down to Printer Preferences, there is simply no longer any option relating to 'pages per sheet'. It is the Printer Preferences options which appear when printing from certain apps. So, for example, I cannot print an e-mail in MS Mail with 2 pages per sheet. However, certain apps use different dialogues to control printing and with them 2-up printing is possible. An example of this is printing from within MS Edge. It seems that these apps have access to control of the printer in ways that go beyond the capabilities recognised by Settings/Printer Preferences.

To add to the confusion, I can also no longer find two-sided printing as an option and, in this case, it is absent not just from Printer Preferences but also from the apps (such as Edge) that do recognise multiple pages per sheet. Very strange.

I have upgraded my computer but my printer remains the same.

On the old computer, using the same printer, I was able to print multiple pages to a single sheet. However, now, using the new computer the function is not offered in the print options when opening PDFs using Microsoft edge. I do have the ability/option
to print multiple pages to a single sheet when using the print function for my Epsom printer from within Microsoft Word.

how do I correct this?

As a college student is often saves paper to print lecture notes (PDFs) as multiple pages on one sheet of paper. This function does not seem to be present whether I print from Reader, Adobe PDF Reader, Edge, or Chrome. This functionality seems to be available
when I print from certain printers, but not the main printer I use at home (Epson XP-420). Is there any way to use windows to send a version of the document to be printed as multiple pages on one sheet to any printer? I know this functionality used to be present
on my old Mac, and it would work great with any printer.
