Hey GuysI have a similar question to the Ritter M., the previous user's question regarding 2 identical processes running, however in autorun I am seeing one of the processes with the name Dolby at the end, and the other with ASC at the end. Do I need both of these, or should I leave them since they are not identical like in the previous case??

    :)

  2. "Playback Device" not showing up in "Device advanced settings" in the Realtek HD Audio Manager

    Hello Aditya,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you're experiencing a common issue with Realtek HD Audio Manager where the front panel audio and back panel audio are treated as a single audio device instead of separate ones. Here are a few things you can try to fix the issue:

    1. Update your Realtek audio drivers: Go to the Zebronics website and download the latest Realtek audio drivers for your motherboard model. Install them and see if the issue is resolved.
    2. Check your audio settings in Windows: Open the Windows Sound settings by right-clicking on the speaker icon in the taskbar and selecting "Open Sound settings". Under the "Output" section, check if your headphones are listed as a separate playback device. If not, right-click in the window and select "Show disabled devices" and "Show disconnected devices". If your headphones appear, right-click on them and select "Set as Default Device".
If you already have Realtek HD Audio Manager installed on your device, the following steps may help:

    1. Enable front and rear audio playback: Open the Realtek HD Audio Manager and click on the gear icon in the top right corner to access the settings. Under the "Device advanced settings" section, check the box next to "Make front and rear output devices playback two different audio streams simultaneously". This should enable separate playback for front and rear audio devices.
    2. Disable front panel jack detection: In the Realtek HD Audio Manager, go to the Connector Settings tab and uncheck "Enable auto popup dialog, when device has been plugged in". This will disable the front panel jack detection and may enable separate playback for front and rear audio devices.
These steps involve the use of software from three parties, and since they are not Microsoft programs, my instructions may not be absolutely correct, and the solutions you find online may not be correct. Therefore, I suggest you consult the motherboard customer service for targeted guidance.

Hopefully, one of these solutions will help you resolve your issue.

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Realtek HD Audio Driver Version old post

Had some time since 8210 was out to look more into the Realtek Audio Manager missing issue. On Windows 10 x64 Home Edition with Creators Update. This is what I did:

    1) In Windows, right clicked on Start Menu, Apps & Features, selected "Realtek High Definition Audio Driver" which shows as 6.0.1.8205 and clicked on uninstall.

    2) Ran Remo Uninstaller's forced uninstall but nothing was found.

    3) Rebooted system

    4) After system reboot, went to Device Manager, then "sound, video and game controllers" where it listed Realtek High Definition Audio with the driver version 7571 which I think is what comes with Creators Update, update driver and pointed it to the 8210 folder with the browse for drivers. 8210 installed but the Realtek HD Audio Manager was not found in Control Panel or the Start Menu while C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\RAVBg64.exe and C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\RAVCpl64.exe processes are running in the background. RAVCpl64.exe does exist in C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA and I can run it which opens up Realtek HD Audio Manager.

    5) Rebooted the system

    6) Device Manager shows 8210 installed but the Realtek HD Audio Manager was not found in Control Panel or the Start Menu while C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\RAVBg64.exe and C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\RAVCpl64.exe processes are running in the background. Not sure what else I can do to fix this since I just have to manually run it using Windows Explorer and then select display icon in notification area. I remember in mid-late 2015 in this thread, I found a way to fix it but I can't seem to find my post to see exactly what I did.

Troubles opening Realtek HD Audio Manager

Did you follow the tutorial to reinstall Realtek Audio Manager? There are other steps there too to try.

There's another tutorial here covering this slightly differently:
