Windows 10: After a hard reset on my computer, the screen immediately goes black after 3 minutes of use

I started to have the CMOS Reset 502 issue and it started to happen on a last Sunday last week, Which the laptop battery happened to be bad and now, and it's been fine and running and now, it keeps on giving me a hard time trying to use it... as once I powered it on today, it blinked on the Caps lock, I got 5 long blinks and 3 short, the laptop itself is refurbished after a accident from my old one and now, I have tons of information on this laptop that I cannot afford to lose completely... and another issue is that when I do a hard reset and see the CMOS Reset error come up and reset, it al

Laptop goes to black screen in 2 minutes.


Hello,
Just installed Windows 10 yesterday. I have a Toshiba laptop.
When no programs are running and I'm not working on the laptop, it automatically goes to a black screen now after 2-3 minutes. When I then touch a button or the mouse, it goes back to normal screen, and I can also see the internet connecting again.
All my screensavers/shutdowns are set on 10 minutes or more.

What can cause this?

Hi, I have upgraded to windows 10 and shortly (couple of minutes) after the computer boots to desktop the screen goes black and I can't do anything but turn off or restart.

In safe mode it doesn't turn off.

I use the hide updates patch on my gpu drivers and have set metered connection to on however the screen still goes black as if it's installing a gpu driver that doesn't work.

Any suggestions please?

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad
