Windows 10: How can I fix my computer not automatically detecting proxy settings for internet...

I recently performed 'bcdboot C:\Windows /s C:', to change the boot priority to my SSD. I have SecureBoot enabled now. I am trying to get onto Windows 11 on my desktop PC. After switching to the SSD, a windows update was available, and I installed the update. Now, my pc is detecting the internet connection through the ethernet cable and wireless adapter, but the device is telling me there is no connection. The strange thing is I can access some websites that have fix guides in Firefox, like partitionwizard.com and microsoft help forums, but other websites won't load due to a lack of an interne

Hi - Just so you know, I'm marking this "problem solved". I found this online How to Solve the Windows Could Not Automatically Detect Network Proxy Settings Error. Doing the last step under #2 is what solved the problem. McAvee is still scanning incoming. McAvee & Malwarebytes still show no problems with a full scan. Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Change proxy settings

1. Navigate to Settings > Network & Internet.
2. In the left pane, click Proxy.
3. Under Automatic proxy setup, toggle off Automatically detect settings.

Reset TCP/IP

1. Right-click Windows key and select
   Command Prompt (Admin).
2. In the command prompt window, type in
   netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt and press
   Enter.
3. Restart your computer and see if it works.

Reset Internet Settings

1. In Cortana search, type in Internet Options, and select it from the search results.
2. Click the Advanced tab, then click
   Reset. (Deleting personal settings is optional.)
3. Click Apply, then
   OK.
