Windows 10: I can't start my laptop unless I reinstall windows.

Discus and support I can't start my laptop unless I reinstall windows. in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Recently my laptop blue screened and shut down and after reinstalling windows it worked again but after a few weeks it happened again.     I can't start my laptop unless I reinstall windows.


    Recently my laptop blue screened and shut down and after reinstalling windows it worked again but after a few weeks it happened again. Now I every time I turn off my laptop it goes in to the blue recovery menu and I can't start my laptop unless I reinstall windows.and after that I turn my laptop off and the same thing happens

    Laptop won't start unless plugged in.

    I recently had the battery on my laptop (a Lenovo T14s Thinkpad) replaced, and have had problems with getting it to start. When I turn it on, it shuts itself off a few seconds into the startup screen unless it is connected to a charger. After startup it can run off battery power just fine.

    Things I have already tried:

    • Disabling Fast Startup
    • Reinstalling the battery driver
    • Using powercfg -setdcvalueindex SCHEME_CURRENT SUB_BATTERY BATACTIONCRIT 0 to prevent the computer from shutting down because it couldn't communicate with the battery.

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Reinstall Windows?

    You don't need to reinstall windows. Go to the device manager and remove uninstall the processor and motherboard drivers listed. When you start the system back up you should be able to re-install the new ones. I just changed my mobo/processor Friday, everything is fine.

    BTW I have seen some reviews that state practically no difference in using more than 2gb of ram.
