Windows 10: Labeling video files

I do a bunch of video editing and at the beginning of the video the person running the camera will tell me a number to label the video by. For years I've opened the video heard the number and labeled without closing out the video. Today I go to start doing that and every time I try to rename the video I get a File in Use error. The error says The action can't be completed because the file is open in either Microsoft.Media.Player or RuntimeBroker. Even when I close the video out it still will give me that error for a bit. There was a windows update so I did that and restarted my computer, but n

I haven't gotteen to this suggestion yet - but, I've shut down half my Extensions and, now, I get the voice of the Youtube videos - but still not the video. Thought this clue might help.

Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Try few of the troubleshooting steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Video playback troubleshooter and check

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Video playback options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the troubleshooter.

Step 2: I suggest you to copy the files from your computer to another working computer and check if you are able to access them.

This will let us know if the issue is with specific files types on your computer.
