Windows 10: Why does Microsoft Voice Access now add a full stop after any number

I am using Microsoft Voice Access navigate my computer. I am unable to use other input devices apart from limited movement on the touch pad. This has worked relatively well to date but recently Voice Access is now adding a full stop after certain commands or after saying a number.for example:mouse grid 3.when the command mouse grid is said with a number it has added a full stop after the number 3.I also cannot use Voice Access to add certain punctuation for example saying question Mark. now write out the words instead of putting in the punctuationI have tried switching on and off automatic pun

Are there any other voices for Narrator in the Ease of Access in Windows 10?

  Type narrator in the search bar and press enter.
  
• 
  Click on voices
  
• 
  And select find other voices that work with Narrator.

Create an Alias for Voice Access

Hello,

I’ve recently started using Voice Access and I find it useful. Can users create an alias for it?

According to Microsoft Support Topics, Voice access command list - Microsoft Support, the only way to activate and manage Voice Access is by calling “Voice Access”.

I’d like to create an alias to call “Voice Access” as either “Cortana” or “Copilot”. Is this possible?

Voice Access for offline use

You can use Voice Access on Windows 11 offline. According to Microsoft Support, Voice Access is a new feature in Windows 11 that enables everyone, including people with mobility disabilities, to control their PC and author text using only their voice and without an internet connection.

Here’s how you can set it up:

1. Launch Voice Access from Settings: In the Start menu, select Settings > Accessibility > Speech. Turn on the Voice access switch.
   
2. Start Voice Access from Windows search: Open Windows search and type voice access. Select Open to start voice access.
   

When you turn on Voice Access for the first time, you are prompted to download voice access language files to be used by on-device speech recognition. Once the language files have been downloaded, voice access works regardless of your internet connection status.

Note: You may still need the Internet to download the corresponding language files when setting up for the first time. After the download is complete, you can use it offline.
