Windows 10: Windows not syncing with Microsoft account

*If this is in the wrong forum, please move it or let me know.Hi all, I hope the title explains enough. To put it simple, my Microsoft account isn't syncing with my computer. When I look at the Search bar, my Microsoft Rewards balance says 0 but when I go to my Rewards profile, it's closer to 4000, and in Settings, if I look at the Clipboard settings, it does say "Your Microsoft account is syncing with Windows," but right under it, it says it isn't. "Some settings aren't available because Microsoft account isn't syncing with Windows".I've tried signing in with my Microsoft account I use a l

Microsoft Account not syncing WP8.1

Hi Michael,

We suggest that you manually sync your Microsoft account by following these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Tap email + accounts.
• Tap and hold your Microsoft account.
• Tap sync.

Check also if you have the correct date and time set on your phone.

Microsoft Account and Syncing


Not sure what else to suggest but since you mentioned it, try variations of the sync settings on your W8.1 phone. It is just possible that this is causing some confusion with your Microsoft account and the W10 settings.

Looking at the picture 4 of the step 4 of this link http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadF...in-windows-10/ , I noticed that the window for data synchronization, which lets choose which data to sync, is never displayed when I step from a local to Microsoft account.

Why this window does not appear?
