Windows 10: Blue tint on certain applications

Hi thereI have noticed in the last few days that certain app backgrounds have a blue tint, such as design software, browsers Edge and Chrome. Strangely, all Microsoft apps and Windows explorer appears true white see screenshot.Here are my PC detailsevice name OBC_WS_03 Processor IntelR CoreTM i7-14700 2.10 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB 13.7 GB usable System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 24H2 Installed on ‎11/‎12/‎2024 OS build 26100.3476 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.54.0 Any help would be great!Ben

Blue tint on monitor

My ASUS monitor (model MX279-H) shows a blue tint. I recently bought an HP27f monitor and realized that ASUS display has a blue tint (image attached).

I am using an HDMI cable to connect (no loose VGA cables!) I uploaded/updated display drivers from ASUS website.

 

Windows 10 is tinted blue. Bios tinted blue afterwards.

Sorry for the delayed response.

Screen Blue Tint and other critical errors can occur when your Windows operating system becomes corrupted. Opening programs will be slower and response times will lag. When you have multiple applications running, you may experience crashes and freezes.

I would suggest you to try installing the graphics card drivers in compatibility mode and check.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode.

  Download the updated driver from the manufacturer’s website.
  
• 
  Right click the driver installation file and select
  Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Place a check in the
  Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• 
  Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
  
• 
  Try installing the driver and check.

Laptop screen has blue tint

I never showed any examples of my problem. See the attached images. Those are black and white images, but on my screen they are black, white and light blue-ish.
