Hi, I have Asus t15 my Bluetooth is not running so i thought to check services but when i try to do it automatic it saw The parameter is incorrect

Hi,

My bluetooth wasn't working before and I found out it's the Bluetooth User Support Service. I tried to change it from Manual to Automatic and Automatic Delayed but the error comes up saying The parameter is incorrect. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I have found a possible solution for both of us (I can't test it right now) it's changing the start type in the registry from Manual to Automatic.

Change "Start" from 3 to 2 in the following places:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BluetoothUserService
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BluetoothUserService_33965
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\bthserv

I am not sure it will work but i'll try it soon

Edit: I just saw that you cannot turn on/off Bluetooth, i know how to fix that.

Step 1: Open services.msc
Step 2: Start the following services:

Bluetooth Support Service
Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service
and any other Bluetooth related services.

Then set all of them to automatic.

BTW: I am having a problem setting Bluetooth User Support Service to Automatic, but the registry thing I showed you up in my post might fix it.

I have tried what you have told me to do. I turned off all the non-Microsoft services in msconfig and I disabled all my Startup Programs in Task Manager. After that I restarted and I tried to start all the services and change it to Automatic. It didn't work,
the same error occurred. I got out of Clean Boot now but I have noticed a few things about the service.

- All the other Bluetooth Services start except the Bluetooth User Support Service

- I see a thing called Start parameters. Do you think I need to add something to that?

- All the Bluetooth Services have a tab called Log On, and all the other Bluetooth services have a username for logon called "Local Service" but the Bluetooth User Account service has no username but it has a password. Do you think I may need to add my username
and/or change the password?
